SHAHIRA STAFFORD
Shahira Stafford is a lifelong Kansan and has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of association management, focused primarily on government relations and communications. Before starting her own lobbying firm, Stafford served as Vice President of Government Affairs for the Kansas Grain and Feed Association and its affiliated agribusiness organizations and lobbying clients. Prior, she filled the role of Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
Shahira currently serves as President Elect on the Board of Directors of the Kansas Society of Association Executives (KSAE) and was recognized as the 2019 KSAE Association Professional of the Year.
She has also served on the Board of Directors of the Junior League of Topeka, is a 2015 graduate of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Excellence in Public Service Series, and was selected to the Leadership Kansas Class of 2021.
Stafford earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Communications from the University of Kansas William Allen White School of Journalism in 2002. She resides in Topeka with her husband, Eric, and their 15-year old twins.
